Ikaia Melton | Ph.D. Student at Purdue University

As a Ph.D. student (Direct-Ph.D.), I aim to specialize in virtual reality and virtual avatar research. I hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a minor in Animation & New Media. My research focus will be on social VR applications, particularly storytelling in VR to enhance user perception in virtual environments. I aspire to work at VRChat as a Design Director, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Senior VR Director. In my spare time, I enjoy creating animations, drawing, and storytelling.
